About Me
I have drawn on my Master’s in Social Work and years of counseling clients combined with my scriptural knowledge and study of metaphysical practices to develop a prescription to overcome anxiety, panic and agoraphobia. My prescription for anxiety can be used by anyone to create a more peaceful existence for those trying to deal effectively with the frantic lifestyle in today’s society. You will find me empathetic, compassionate, and an attentive listener. Together, we will work to solve all of the problems or anxieties you have had to attend to.

We will discuss together what low self-esteem is and how and what kind of impact low self-esteem might be affecting you and your relationships and I will teach you dialectical behavior therapy exercises to help you overcome your low self-esteem and put you on the road to healthier, more productive and satisfying relationships.
LIFE COACH OR THERAPIST. WHICH ONE?
When I was trying to decide whether I wanted to be a social worker or a life coach, I came upon these facts that I wanted to share with you why I think life coaching might actually be a better fit for me and for a lot of people when it comes to making positive shifts.
First, let me say that therapy is great. If you are dealing with serious mental health issues or working with past trauma, therapy is absolutely the right way to go. But being with a real-life coach feels like a different vibe altogether. It’s more like where you are now and where you want to go. Not so much digging deep into past pain. And honestly where you are and where you want to go is just what you need when you’re feeling stuck. Focus on the present and the future. One of the biggest things that sets life coaching up and out from therapy is its focus. Therapy often focuses on unpacking the past. Understanding why the way you are processing old norms. But with life coaching, it’s about where you are right now. It’s forward-looking, goal oriented and action based. Think of it like having a personal trainer for your mind and life. You’re not just sitting around talking about what happened, you’re actively working on solutions. You can feel like you’re making progress, which is super motivating. It’s about action, not about reflection, and while that can be crucial, coaching is different because it’s all about action. It also sets clean, actionable goals and making strides towards them every week. You constantly are moving forward with the game plan which feels empowering. You’re not just exploring your feelings; you’re taking steps to improve your life. It’s like a road map to your goals. It feels like a partnership, not a hierarchy. I’ve always felt like the coaches are more like partners. We call people who go to life coaches’ clients not patients They come in the mindset of working alongside of you rather than figures of authority.
Life coaches can feel a lot more personable and accessible than therapy. Many of them have experienced their own life journey, so it’s not just about book knowledge. For example, I had agoraphobia for 40 years. And I developed my own prescription for curing anxiety which is why I’m writing a book called Curing Anxiety through Biblical truths and Metaphysical Practices Life coaches offer a fresh perspective and advice that you can actually apply to your everyday life. It’s less clinical and there is something incredibly freeing in that. Plus, life coaches often feel more empowering instead of being told what’s wrong with you or having to unpack all your baggage. Coaching helps you reframe your mindset and see yourself as capable of achieving the things you want.
